Bonalu is one of Telangana's most vibrant festivals. Women offer decorated Bonam pots to Goddess Mahankali while colorful processions, Pothuraju performances, folk dances, and devotional celebrations take place throughout the district.
Jogulamba Devi Temple is one of the eighteen sacred Shakti Peethas in India and the most famous spiritual destination in Jogulamba Gadwal district. Located at Alampur near the confluence of the Krishna and Tungabhadra rivers.
