The park was officially inaugurated on September 14, 2021, by K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), the Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development of Telangana. The inauguration was part of a broader development package for the region, which also included the foundation stone for a 100-bed hospital in Alampur, a library at the Government Degree College, and other infrastructure projects in Gadwal.
