Telangana shocker how wifes affair with boss led to husbands murder new details emerge in gadwal case

HYDERABAD: Jogulamba Gadwal police on Thursday arrested eight people, including a newly-wed woman and her lover, for the abduction and murder of 32-year-old land surveyor Ganta Tejeshwar on June 17.Police said the murder was plotted by V Tirumala Rao, 35, manager at Can Fin Homes Ltd in Kurnool, and his lover Sahasra alias Aishwarya, 23, Tejeshwar’s wife. They roped in a gang with promises of cash and favours to execute the plan. All eight were sent to judicial remand. Police plan to seek custody for crime scene reconstruction and evidence recovery.The accused include: Tirumala Rao, Aishwarya, three contract killers – K Nagesh, 33, Ch Parashuramudu, 30, and Ch Raju, 25 – Tirumala Rao’s father Tirupataiah, 64, a retired APSP cop, Aishwarya’s mother Sujatha, 50, and A Mohan, 30, a mason from Jammiched village who tracked Tejeshwar’s movements.

Srinivas Rao presided over the meeting with police officials to review various cases, including Old UI, grave cases, ST/SC cases, and contested cases. The discussion focused on increasing the conviction rate in registered cases and taking necessary steps to expedite pending investigations. During the meeting, the SP reviewed under-investigation cases and gathered details from police officials regarding both grave and non-grave cases. He emphasized the importance of close coordination between police officers and judicial authorities to ensure the speedy resolution of pending cases in all police station jurisdictions. The SP instructed the officials to complete investigations thoroughly and dispose of cases efficiently.

Jogulamba Gadwal: The Principal District and Sessions Court in Mahabubnagar sentenced six persons to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs. 3,500 each in connection with the 2016 murder of former village sarpanch Pani Kurumanna in Manopad. The murder fueled by an ongoing feud since 2012, occurred when Kurumanna was attacked with hunting knives while on Potula Padu Road. The victim’s family alleged the crime was motivated by his role in leading witnesses in a related murder case involving the same accused.

Jogulamba Gadwal police swiftly solved a murder case within 48 hours, arresting six individuals. The victim, Sandhya Pogu Ramesh, was killed on February 12, 2025, near Maddur stage. Initially reported as a hit-and-run, the investigation revealed a premeditated murder orchestrated by Ramesh’s own brothers. Ramesh had ongoing property disputes with his brothers, Sandyapogu Gopi and Sandyapogu Mahesh. Tensions escalated after Ramesh and another brother allegedly attempted to murder Mahesh. Seeking revenge, Mahesh plotted Ramesh’s murder with his family’s knowledge.
