The Government General Hospital (GGH) in Telangana’s Jogulamba Gadwal district has dispatched a medical team to assist in emergency response efforts following a fatal bus accident in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh, in the early hours of Friday (October 24, 2025).
Speaking to The Hindu, Indira, Superintendent of GGH Gadwal, said that while no injured persons had been brought to the Gadwal hospital so far, a team from Gadwal Medical College was sent immediately to the accident site to support the ongoing rescue and treatment operations. “Our medical team went to Kurnool soon after learning about the accident. The team of five comprises a general surgeon, a general medicine specialist, and an administrative deputy superintendent, along with other support staff. They travelled with an ambulance and all necessary equipment.
