A Class IX student was hospitalised after a snakebite at a KGBV school in Jogulamba Gadwal, while students from another Gurukul staged a protest over unsafe drinking water, broken toilets, and government apathy despite repeated pleas for action.
Gadwal: A Class IX student of Kasturba Gandhi Girls High School (KGBV) in Kalagotla village of Jogulamba Gadwal district was hospitalised after being bitten by a snake on the school premises on Wednesday morning.
The student, identified as Dakshayini, raised an alarm and alerted her classmates immediately after the incident. She was shifted to Kurnool Government Hospital for treatment.
